Jack J. Yang (born 1974) is a Canadian-American actor. He has appeared in several TV shows, including as recurring character Walter, longtime bar-owner Joe's husband, on Grey's Anatomy.

On New Girl, he appeared in the series "Pilot" as Peter, Jess Day's rebound date.

Biography[]

Yang attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, majoring in Film/Photo Directing, after he had established a career in modelling and commercial acting in his teens. This was followed by intensive actor's training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in the early 2000s.

He has notched severeal TV guest appearances, including Fringe, Scrubs, CSI: Miami, Law & Order: SVU, Nip/Tuck, ER, Bones, and Chuck, in addition to his recurrence on Grey's. He has also appeared in small roles in several (mostly short) films, and provided voices for video games including Syndicate, Need for Speed, and Command and Conquer.

The year 2013 marked his first leading film role, in the aptly titled indie A Leading Man, which centers around a Chinese-American actor, his stereotyped career, and the casting couch.
