Hannah Simone (born August 3, 1980) is a Canadian television host, actress, and model. Simone has portrayed "Cece Parekh" on New Girl since the series' first episode ("[Pilot]").

Simone was born in London, England to a father of Indian origin and a mother of German, Italian, and Greek Cypriot descent. She spent her early childhood in Calgary, Alberta, moving to Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, then New Delhi with her family before settling in Vancouver before she finished high school. She worked as a fashion model while still in her teens.

Simone has a BA in International Relations and Political Science from the University of British Columbia, and a BA in Radio and Television Arts ('04) from Ryerson University in Toronto. She has worked as a political researcher for former Canadian finance minister Lloyd Axworthy, and lived in the UK for a few months while volunteering at the United Nations during her college years.

In 2005, Simone was made host of HGTV Canada's Space For Living, which was followed by a two-year stint as a VJ on MuchMusic Canada from 2006-08. Leaving Toronto for Los Angeles at the end of 2008, she became the host of Syfy's WCG Ultimate Gamer with Joel Gourdin from 2009-10.

While establishing herself as a TV host, Simone took minor acting roles in Toronto-shot US TV series' including Kevin Hill and Kojak, but her breakout role as Cece is her most significant by far. Since New Girl premiered in 2011, she has appeared in web series H+, made a guest appearance as an Andorran princess on 1600 Penn, appeared as a guest judge on So You Think You Can Dance, and was featured in a 2013 Gillette razor commercial with fellow models Kate Upton and Genesis Rodriguez.
