May first meets Coach repeatedly at Nick's bar crawl in 2015. They argue and sorta resent one another until they realise that they virtually trailed each other across the country for years growing up, both being army brats, and never meeting. This sparks their interest in each other and Coach attempts to woo May by crafting a good e-mail to convince her to go out with him.
